Clancy has enjoyed a wide-ranging career, not only as a cellist, but also as a composer, producer, writer, and
guest lecturer. David was 1987 Santander International Piano Competition’s Gold Medal winner resulting in
tours to 30 countries. He is Dean of the School of Music at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh
